GiroDisc Racing Brakes & Technologies A2-056 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors (2010-2016) (Garage Sale) $1,087.66 $1,450.00
A2-056 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors (2010-2016) (Discontinued Design) Fits Mercedes E63 AMG Discontinued New old stock rotor.  These have the straight grooves as images show, not the new curved grooves.  Final Sale, no returns or exchanges. The GiroDisc system is an upgrade to a two-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination; it is a direct replacement for the OEM brake disc.  The two-piece floating disc will bolt directly to your car and work with OEM calipers perfectly.  By upgrading your brakes with these lightweight, high-performance replacements as opposed to a big brake kit, your factory brake bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency.  GiroDisc rotors are lighter than OEM pieces. The reduction in rotational and unsprung mass (approx. eight pounds per corner!) allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response. When used with GiroDisc Magic Pads for the street, Pagid or PFC racing brake pads for the track, and Competition Motorsport RF-1 brake fluid (all available from Competition Motorsport), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors. The central hat section of the disc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum.  The disc is manufactured from cast iron which is constructed in the USA and is made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations.  The rotors curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.   The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes 8-10 high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by GiroDisc in the USA to our own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance.  The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat.  The pins are secured by Grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. The two-piece GiroDisc design allows for rotor only replacement as well to minimize future replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling. Sold/Priced per pair.

GiroDisc Racing Brakes & Technologies A2-095 Girodisc Subaru WRX STI ('08–'17) Rear Rotors $950.00
Girodisc Subaru WRX STI Rear Rotors Designed for enthusiasts who demand faster response and greater stopping consistency, Girodisc rear rotors for the 2008–2017 Subaru WRX STI combine lightweight performance with race-proven cooling technology. These two-piece floating rotors deliver improved balance, heat control, and durability—ideal for both spirited street driving and track days. Vehicle Fitment Subaru WRX STI (2008–2017)Compatible with OEM Brembo rear calipers and factory parking brake system. Lightweight, High-Performance Design The Girodisc system bolts directly to factory hubs. Some OEM and aftermarket brake pads require minor modification to clear the hardware while retaining the stock parking brake. This simple adjustment involves slightly grinding the backing plate to match the pad’s arc, and full instructions are included. Pads supplied by Girodisc for this application are already CNC-modified for a direct fit. Each rotor assembly combines a 6061-T6 aluminum hat with Girodisc’s proprietary cast-iron friction ring, cast and machined in the USA. The curved internal vane structure acts as a centrifugal pump, pulling air through the rotor to maximize cooling and reduce fade. At only 11 lbs each versus 18 lbs stock, these rotors significantly reduce unsprung and rotational weight for sharper handling and quicker acceleration. Features • Direct replacement for OEM rotors – minor pad modification may be required• 6061-T6 billet aluminum hats, hard-anodized for corrosion resistance• Proprietary cast-iron friction rings cast and machined in the USA• Floating mount system with cadmium-plated steel drive pins• Anti-noise spring washers prevent rattle while maintaining float• Curved vane design enhances airflow and cooling• 11 lbs per rotor vs. 18 lbs OEM – reduces unsprung mass by 7 lbs each• Fully rebuildable – replace only the iron rings when worn• Sold/priced per pair Girodisc A2-095 Rear Rotor FAQs: Do these rotors require modification to install? The rotors themselves bolt directly on. However, some brake pads require minor backing plate modification to clear the hardware. Full instructions are provided, and Girodisc pads are pre-machined for plug-and-play use. Will these rotors retain my factory parking brake? Yes. Girodisc specifically designed this setup to keep full functionality of the OEM parking brake system. How much weight savings can I expect? Each Girodisc rotor is approximately 7 lbs lighter than stock, reducing rotational inertia and improving suspension response. Are these suitable for track days or street use? Absolutely. These rotors are engineered for both daily driving and high-performance conditions, providing better cooling and fade resistance under load. Upgrade your Subaru WRX STI with Girodisc rear rotors for lighter, cooler, and more consistent braking performance—precision-built to handle everything from mountain roads to race circuits.
