Girodisc GP-Series Brake Pad Overview

The Girodisc GP-Series 4011 front pads are designed for next-generation Ferrari platforms including the 296 GTB, SF90, and 812 Competizione. Developed for high thermal stability, consistent torque, and precise modulation, these pads are offered in two compounds: GP10 for street/fast road and GP30 for endurance track use. Both compounds share the same 4011 pad shape and fit all listed applications.

GP10 Street Compound

The GP10 compound is optimized for high-performance street and canyon driving. It offers quiet operation, low dust, excellent cold friction, and smooth pedal feel, while remaining stable during repeated aggressive braking.

GP30 Endurance Race Compound

Designed for long-duration track events, GP30 provides consistent braking over extended heat cycles with reduced pad degradation and excellent rotor friendliness. Ideal for heavy cars or drivers seeking maximum durability under continuous load.

Girodisc GP-Series Pad FAQs

Which compound is best for regular street driving? GP10 is the street-focused compound, designed for quiet use, low dust, and excellent cold performance.

Is GP30 suitable for daily use? GP30 can be used on the street but will create more noise and dust and performs best at track temperatures.

Do these pads fit OEM Ferrari calipers? Yes. These pads use the 4011 shape, which fits the factory front calipers on all listed Ferrari models.

Are these compatible with carbon-ceramic (CCM) rotors? Yes. Girodisc GP-Series pads are fully compatible with Ferrari OEM carbon-ceramic rotor systems.

Do I need to bed the pads before driving hard? Yes, proper bedding is required to establish the correct transfer layer and achieve maximum braking performance.
