991 PORSCHE TURBO & 981 GT4 (OEM PCCB)

This Girodisc system is a 410mm two-piece steel rotor and aluminum hat combination, a direct-replacement upgrade for the OEM PCCB brakes. The A1-156 will bolt directly to your Porsche and work perfectly with your OEM calipers. There are two main reasons for replacing your PCCB: first, the Girodisc rotors are designed to shed heat more effectively than the original rotors; second, the machined cast iron rotor rings are far more durable than the fragile OEM carbon-ceramic rotors. This is critical when you're swapping wheels on and off the car for track days or racing, because it's so easy to nick a carbon rotor and take a chunk out of it. When paired with the Girodisc A2-156 rear rotors, your factory brake bias and ABS efficiency are maintained.

When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads, and Competition Motorsport RF1 brake fluid, you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors.

The central hat section is made from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum. The rotor is manufactured in the US from cast iron using the same specs and materials as professional racing organizations. The racing-developed vane design acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.

Rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system using high-strength alloy steel drive pins and Grade 12 cap screws. These transfer braking load while maintaining axial and radial float between the rotor and hat for superior heat management. The pins are secured by Grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating rattle and noise.

The two-piece Girodisc design allows for rotor only replacement as well to minimize future replacement costs and deliver outstanding performance and cooling.
