A Note About Arai GP-6RC Closeout Helmets
These closeout Arai helmets are brand-new, never used, never sold helmets. They have manufacture dates that vary from 2017 to 2019. Their FIA certifications are valid for ten years from the date of manufacture, so varying from 2027 to 2029.
Notice: If you have the helmet painted, please do not remove the trim as this will void the FIA certification.
Arai GP-6RC Positive Shield Latch
Positive latch mechanism provides solid shield latching while allowing normal operation of the shield. Designed to be an integral component of the shield system, not just an add-on afterthought. Simplicity of the function belies the complexity of the design.
Arai GP-6RC HANS Post Anchors
Integrated seats to accommodate a variety of Head and Neck Restraint devices. Pre-installed M6 threaded washer/nut with 6mm threads accepst a variety of anchor systems, making installation much easier. Flat surface area around the mounting nut allows the anchor post base to rest flush with the helmet surface.

Proprietary carbon fiber material and weave provide an extremely strong yet flexible material, helping manage impact energy. Multiple reinforcing materials are used to improve performance and keep weight and size to a minimum.

How to Get the Best Fit for Your Arai GP-6R Carbon Helmet
These Arai GP-6RC 8860-2010 helmets are available in sizes XS, Small, and Large only.
The most effective helmet is one that fits properly. To measure your head, have an assistant use a dressmaker's tape or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your head. Start at a point about an inch above your eyebrows, looping around the back of your head at the point that results in the largest measurement, and finally around to the front again. It's a good idea to take two or three measurements to make sure you have the largest one.
