Originally designed for professional racing teams competing in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Grand Sport (GS) class, the Forgeline GS1R exemplifies the latest in advanced wheel technology, including one-piece forged monoblock construction, motorsport engineered design, and I-beamed spokes. It's engineered to withstand the rigors of top-level endurance racing with a 2100 lb. street tire load rating and exceptional deflection stiffness.
The GS1R features an open-lug center area for up to a pound in additional weight reduction and improved access to the lugs. Combined with a chamfered outer lip, this enables faster wheel changes.
Forgeline Wheels GTD1 5-Lug
The Forgeline Wheels GTD1 5-lug is a 10-spoke derivative of Forgeline's race-winning center lock GTD1 wheel. You choose whether you want staggered front and rear offsets (similar to the OEM wheels), or a "square" set-up with all four wheels the same offset. The latter includes 25mm spacers and longer lug bolts for the front, allowing you to swap your Forgeline Wheels front-to-back to maximize tire longevity.
