The Litespeed Racing DF6RR Forged MAG+ wheel is their first wheel built for professional Formula Drift driver Jonathan "Cash" Hurst. The Litespeed DF6RR was debuted at Formula Drift Long Beach in 2023. The Litespeed DF6RR features an unparalleled level of CNC milling, with each of the six spokes hollowed out from every side.
The holes machined into the spokes of the Litespeed DF6RR were strategically placed based on extensive computer load simulations along with real-world testing data. This extensive process was critical to producing the strongest and lightest possible version of a classic six-spoke wheel.
The Litespeed DF6RR Forged MAG+ wheel is, of course, an excellent choice for drifting as well as road course and autocross racing. It is exceptionally strong and stiff, reducing wheel flex through extreme corning and hard braking.
Fully Forged From Proprietary MAG+ Advanced Alloy
The industry standard for forged wheels is to use 6061-T6 aluminum. Litespeed Racing has pushed past the standard with the development of their Advanced Forged Alloy. It outperforms the standard 6061-T6 alloy in every category, including 30% higher tensile strength and 36% higher strength-to-weight ratio.
This results in a wheel that is both stronger and lighter than standard forged aluminum wheels. A lighter wheel improves all aspects of performance from acceleration to handling to fuel economy.
