Girodisc
A1-291 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors for Porsche Cayman GT4RS (718)
$2,694.00
Girodisc A1-291 Two-Piece Floating Front Brake Rotors
FITMENT: Porsche Cayman GT4RS (718), Front
This Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OEM drilled front iron rotors on the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4RS. No modifications are necessary when installing these Girodisc rotors, allowing use of unmodified factory pad shapes (unlike most aftermarket racing rotors for the GT4RS). The Girodisc rotors will bolt directly to the car and work with the excellent OEM Brembo calipers perfectly.
By upgrading your Porsche's brakes with lightweight, high performance Girodisc floating rotors (as opposed to a big brake kit), both the brake bias and ABS actuation dialed in by Porsche engineers are preserved.
The central hat section of each Girodisc is made from 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is manufactured from cast iron constructed in the USA, made to the same specification with the same material used by professional racing organizations. The rotors' curved vane design was developed in racing and acts as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat mount together through a floating mount system which utilizes ten high strength alloy steel drive pins manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and are cadmium plated for corrosion resistance. The alloy drive pins transfer the load from the brake action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the disc rotor and hat. The pins are secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers and mounted with anti-noise spring washers to allow for heat expansion while eliminating the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors.
The two-piece Girodisc design allows for disc-only replacement as well, minimizing future replacement costs and delivering outstanding performance.
Sold/priced per pair.

A2-272 Girodisc 2pc Rear Brake Rotors for Porsche (OEM Steel)
$2,411.00
Girodisc A2-272 Two-Piece Floating Rear Brake Rotors
Fits The Following Cars (w/ OEM Iron Rotors):
Porsche 992 GT3, Rear
Porsche 992 GT3RS, Rear
Porsche 718 Cayman GT4RS, Rear
The Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OEM rear cast iron rotors on the Porsche 992 GT3 & GT3RS and the 718 GT4RS. No modifications are necessary, allowing use of unmodified factory pad shapes unlike most aftermarket solutions for these Porsches. The Girodisc rotors will bolt directly to your car and work with perfectly with the excellent OEM Brembo calipers. By upgrading your brakes with lightweight, high performance replacements (as opposed to a big brake kit), both the factory brake bias and ABS actuation dialed-in by Porsche engineers are preserved.
Girodisc two-piece floating rotors are lighter than the OEM Porsche rotors. This reduction in rotational mass and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration, sharper steering, and faster suspension response.
When used with Pagid or PFC performance brake pads and CMS RF-1 brake fluid (available from Competition Motorsport), you have an amazing solution to overheating, cracking and warping rotors.

Pagid RSL 29:
Pagid RSL 29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport. Although designed primarily for endurance racing, many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favor in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear.
Pagid RSL 1:
Pagid RSL 1 has a high ceramic content with superior thermal insulation and higher heat resistance than metallic pad compounds. They feature excellent pad wear under endurance conditions, excellent rotor life, and are less aggressive than RST pads with excellent brake balance and modulation.
Pagid RST 1:
Pagid RST 1 is a high-friction, aggressive pad with instant pedal response, quick release, a firm pedal at all temperatures, and a progressive torque curve. Suitable for applications with high down-force and/or very high grip.
RST 1 has a very high friction level and high temperature resistance. It is a semi-metallic resin bonded material containing steel fibers. Cold friction and initial bite makes this material most appropriate for Rally and NASCAR applications.
Pagid RST 3:
Pagid RST 3 is a medium-high friction metal-ceramic compound containing steel fibers and is therefore the perfect complement of the RST product family.
RST 3 is exceptional in its low heat conductivity. Ideal for rally tarmac and gravel, GT cars, Touring Cars, prototype circuit racing, formula cars and club racing. It has a wide range of applications due to its combination of bite, friction and controllability.
