Stilo ST5 GT Helmet SA2015 - Matte Black
Stilo Helmets ST5 GT SA2015 Helmet Matte Black
Size Note: We have found that customers who typically wear a size 59 helmet are most comfortable in size 60, which uses the large shell. Please order accordingly.
The Matte Black ST5 GT Composite is Stilo's latest addition to their line-up of Kevlar-Carbon composite helmets. With an autoclave molded shell, the ST5 GT Composite offers far superior safety compared to fiberglass and most composites from their competitors. All this is achieved while minimizing weight and maximizing flexibility.
With its large eyeport, the Stilo ST5 GT Composite offers a better view of the track, particularly side-to-side. All of the available tinted, mirrored, and iridium-colored visors (sold separately) have a center pinch-clip to make opening and closing easy, even while wearing nomex racing gloves.
Of course, the Stilo ST5 GT Composite carries both a Snell SA2015 certification and an FIA 8858-2015 homologation. This makes the helmet legal for nearly all road race usage (except for those sanctioning bodies requiring FIA 8860 homologation).
The Stilo ST5 GT Composite is unsurpased in built-in flexibility. Its two side ports can be outfitted with integrated communication electronics, forced air, helmet eject system, or a hydration system. Thanks to its innovative design, mounting and routing these options to the ST5 GT is sleek and seamless. When not in use, you don't even know the features are there.
M6-threaded receivers are molded into the helmet shell to accommodate anchors for whichever head-and-neck restraint you use.

An effective helmet is one that fits properly. Have an assistant use a dressmaker's tape or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your head, starting at a point about an inch above the eyebrows and around a point in the back of the head that results in the largest measurement, finally wrapping back around to the front. It's a good idea to take a few measurements and order your helmet based on the largest.
