SINGLE LAYER CONSTRUCTION, MULTI-LAYER PERFORMANCE RACE SUIT
The Eagle 2.0 is the result of over 3 years of research and development. Sparco has patented a new technology called HOCOTEX® which revolutionizes the way racing suits are made. This new exclusive Sparco technology creates a single layer fabric which has the protection of what is normally achieved by a multi-layer fabric. The Eagle 2.0 is FIA 8856-2018 homologated.
UNPRECEDENTED COMFORT
Thanks to HOCOTEX®, the Eagle 2.0 is three times more breathable than a suit produced using traditional technology. The use of this relatively thinner fabric along with large side and back stretch panels and 360 degree arm gussets give the Eagle 2.0 ultimate flexibility and comfort. The Eagle 2.0 uses at new stretch material called Eagle fabric, which is lighter, more breathable, and more abrasion resistant than traditional stretch material.
IMPROVED FIRE RESISTANCE
Traditional racing suits have layers of fabric sewn together in a quilted pattern. The quilting provides air space between the layers which bloats in a fire, this provides thermal protection to the driver. HOCOTEX® creates a honeycomb structure with internal air cells that ensure the driver even more fire protection. Traditional box quilting creates an average of 300 air chambers in a size 52 suit. The Eagle 2.0 has over 60,000 microcell air chambers which provide a 10 to 12% increase in heat protection performance.

The Prime LT is a limited edition suit available only for the US market. The Prime LT features an all-new design in two colorways. This is a limited edition suit, only available for 2021 (while supplies last). The Prime LT is the same suit material developed for the Mclaren F1 team and is one of the lightest FIA approved racing suit in the world.
The Prime LT has unparalleled technological features created in the Sparco R&D laboratories. The project involved optimizing every single detail in terms of material and construction. This includes an ultra slim zipper, soft seamless Nomex/Vicosa wrists and ankle cuffs, the neck and shoulder pads were further reduced, thinner thread was used and the stitching flattened even more. The Prime LT features a 3 layer construction of proprietary Sparco technology. The third outer layer is a double faced mesh made from original DuPont Nomex Comfort woven using the Kompact system. The material contains a high percentage of antistatic fibers which provide extremely effective antistatic properties as well as breathability. The suit weighs from 240 to 270 gr per square meter (depending on size).

The Eagle RS-8.2 suit uses a combination of Hocotex and Eagle fabrics to produce an ultra lightweight and breathable race suit. With the aim of obtaining a closer and more modern fit, preformed armholes have been used, and, in line with the requirements linked to driver mobility during a race, the elasticized panels have been optimized (armholes, sides and elasticized back). The main structure of the suit, like in the previous version, is the tried and tested characteristic Hocotex, (single-layer multilayer weave 0.6 mm ultra-thin fabric), combined with other accessory fabrics, among which Eagle elasticized fabric (by now well-known and used in various Sparco models), and panels in contrast in flat ultralight cloth for anti-abrasion reinforcements on the legs and arms. Stitched quilting made with thin yarn, concealed pockets, preformed neck and belt with the characteristic Sparco logo. Extractor flap inserted in the armhole (characteristic and especially comfortable, especially not interfering with the positioning of the Hans).

The Prime SP-16.1 suit was made in collaboration with the Mclaren F1 team and is the lightest FIA approved racing suit in the world. The Prime SP-16.1 has unparalleled technological features created in the Sparco R&D laboratories. The project involved optimizing every single detail in terms of material and construction. This includes an ultra slim zipper, soft seamless Nomex/Vicosa wrists and ankle cuffs, the neck and shoulder pads were further reduced, thinner thread was used and stitching flattened even more. The Prime SP-16.1 features a 3 layer construction of some of the some proprietary Sparco technology. The third outer layer is a double faced mesh made from original DuPont Nomex Comfort woven using Kompact system. The material contains a high percentage of antistatic fibers which provide extremely effective antistatic properties as well as breathability

The Sparco Prime Spec 1 Race Suit is a USA exclusive suit that improves on Sparco’s original version of the Prime SP-16. The first thing you will notice is the new suit design. The Prime Special Edition adds 2 new multi-color options. In addition to the new design, the Prime Special Edition adds a few extra features, such as full floating sleeves, belt, and internal pockets.
